Living rooms are large with wood burning fireplaces, TV (Direct-TV Dish, 115 channels) and cathedral ceiling. Each cottage has a washer and dryer, large deck, outdoor grill and unbelievable panoramic views of mountains and sea. We are just minutes from Bar Harbor and all the Acadia National Park entrances. Nearby attractions and activities include: Swimming Hiking (over 100 miles of well marked trails) Golfing Biking (many roads have bike lanes) Rock Climbing Ocean Fishing (no license required for salt water) Park Ranger tours and Nature Walks Museums and Oceanarium Live theater - also dinner theater Lobster Boat tours Unique shops Boating** ** There are several charter boats nearby as well as motor boat and sailboat rentals by the day or week. And, we have small rowboats and life jackets for you to use at our docks, along with our private boat launching ramp and moorings should you trailer your own boat. Fire wood is furnished. You'll find your first fire laid and your woodbox filled. You can help yourself to our woodshed after that.
